Ten years ago, the Recreation Wish List Committee (RWLC) was born. Over the years, we have witnessed the personal transformation that occurs when the community nurtures positive core values in young people by investing in clean, safe and constructive recreation and education opportunities. The RWLC has accomplished much in these ten years.

The RWLC has resurfaced deteriorated ball fields, installed computer labs, equipped run-down playgrounds, renovated neglected recreation centers, and most exciting of all, we have built the most prestigious state of the art Tennis and Learning facility in the country, the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SELTC). The Center does far more than produce basic character-building skills through the game of tennis. It also provides a dynamic, interactive, technology-aided learning environment that creates a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to educational excellence.
